**TPS NEWS RELEASE**

The Timmins Police Service helped a local youngster celebrate his fourth birthday on Saturday by attending the festivities at the local bowling alley.

Platoon # 4 was represented by Cst. Beaulac and Cst. MacDonald who attended Mikyel Hache’s birthday bash.

Their presence was well-received by all partygoers, their parents and by Mikyel in particular as he is an avid fan of the Timmins Police Service

He was ecstatic when he overheard his name called over the air on the cruiser radio by Timmins Central Dispatch wishing him a “Happy Birthday”.

A collection of Timmins Police “swag” was given to Mikyel as a birthday gift including a set of Timmins Police shoulder flashes.

Thanks go out to the officers and to TPS 9-1-1 personnel for being such good sports about this, as no doubt they were busy, but still found the time to brighten up a little boy’s birthday celebration.
