**TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE NEWS RELEASE**

The Timmins Police Service is the grateful recipient of a donation of locally fabricated face shields which were generously donated by our friends at the

Conseil scolaire catholique de district des Grandes-Rivières.

 

The school board prepared and delivered 52 of these vital pieces of PPE which were crafted by means of the creative use of a 3 D printer.

 

The donated pieces of equipment are fabricated with a clear plastic shield as well.

 

They are disposable and can be used in conjunction with masks and glasses for additional protection for Timmins Police Service officers when responding to calls for service so that Covid-19 exposure can be mitigated.
