Kids love chicken nuggets, but a Lifehacker article promises your kids will love them even more if you cook them in a waffle iron!

Not only does a waffle iron imprint a cool design on nuggets, but those indentations are the perfect place to “store” condiments and dips like ketchup or honey mustard sauce.

The site also promises that you’ll love this new cooking method as well because it saves so much time: “Instead of the 10 or so minutes required to preheat the oven, plus the 12-17 minutes it takes to cook the nugs to crisp perfection, a mere five or seven minute smash in the waffle iron is all that’s needed to turn frozen chicken nuggets into hot, crunchy morsels that are more than ready for dipping.”
