Movie theaters are preparing for “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” which starts on Friday (October 13.)  The concert film from Swift’s shows at SoFi Stadium is expected to launch with $100 million or more. Global pre-ticket sales have exceeded $100 million.  Swift and Beyoncé, two huge stars, have made unique deals with AMC Theaters, bypassing Hollywood studios and leaving streamers waiting. Imagine a more affordable version of the Las Vegas’ Sphere available in every town. Adult tickets cost $19.84, with ticket sales split 43 percent to theaters, 57 percent to Swift, and AMC (majority to Swift).  Swift’s father, Scott Swift, sought a direct deal with AMC for speed. Swift made the film herself and didn’t need a studio to promote it, thanks to her 274 million Instagram followers. The film will only be in theaters for 13 weeks.
