Drop-in soup kitchen just the start for the Speakeasy Emporium

The Speakeasy Emporium is trying to find a solution for Homelessness.

Tonight and next Tuesday, they are providing a warming station and soup kitchen at their location on Third Ave for homeless people in Timmins, but hope they can find a more permanent solution to the problem.

They would like to take the information provided to them by the homeless people using these services to create a committee which can make this change happen.

They would like to find a permanent space with shower facilities, kitchens, computers for people to contact loved ones, government services and can provide the resources to get themselves back on track

They are also collecting clothing and food donations. Any extra donations will be given to Yo-Mobile.
