Helping your child read, speak and sing helps them in school and for the rest of their lives.

The «Touch A Truck» committee members invite you and your child to come out to the FREE «Touch a Truck: Bringing Words to Life» event Saturday September 15th from 10am – 1pm, on Second Avenue in front of the Timmins Public Library.

This free event is to promote literacy to our community families by hosting a variety of literacy rich activities for children;

  • Read your favorite book to a therapy dog
  • Explore big trucks on display
  • Bring a book for a book swap
  • Make your own Experience Book
  • Enter to win an e-book reader and more
