**SPORTS FOR KIDS TIMMINS NEWS RELEASE**

Sports for Kids Timmins is closed for 2018 applications. We wish to thank all our sponsors and applicants for 2018. We hope that our sponsors will support us in 2019. We thank our sponsors on our sponsor page on our website and on our banner that hangs in our office and we take to events.

 

We helped many children from low income families be able to play sport. We issued vouchers to 185 children in 255 sports or equipment opportunities to a total of $59,000.00 in 2018. We cannot do this without the support of the business, service clubs, individual donations and community and organizational partnerships. THANK YOU ALL!

 

We open Nov 13th for the 2019 applications. All 2018 applicants must reapply. Applications for January sports must be received by Dec 10th, Sports for April must be applied for by March 10th, Summer and Winter Sports by June 10th and Close for 2019 applications on Sept 22nd 2019.

 

You must apply a minimum of 2 weeks before registration of the sport. You need Notice of Assessment (income tax summary) for 2017 until March 10th then 2018 after that date, pay stubs or social assistance stubs for all adults supporting the child and a completed 2019 applications.

 We have listed all sports we sponsor on our website under Sports Contacts. Application forms for 2019 are posted on our website www.sportsforkidstimmins.com or available at the office. Please come to the office at the Sportsplex arena foyer between 930 and 130 Tuesday and Thursday to apply as faxed or emailed applications are not accepted due to financial requirements.
