**TEMISKAMING OPP NEWS RELEASE**

During the month of September 2018, the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to 715 calls for service which included the following:

  • 32 Violent related incidents
  • 39 Property related occurrences
  • Five Drug related cases
  • Two Impaired driving Offences
  • 37 Motor vehicle collisions

 

Officers in the Englehart, Temagami and Temiskaming offices have also patrolled the highways to ensure road safety and conducted traffic enforcement on the highways and waterways throughout the Temiskaming Detachments’ area.

The OPP would like to remind the public, that with the cooler weather upon us, drivers will have to adjust their driving. Please leave yourself plenty of time, drive carefully and arrive at your destination safely.
