Tonight, residents of Timmins will have the chance to meet the Ward Candidates in the upcoming Municipal Election, before seeing the Mayoral Candidates debate on key issues in our city.

The Timmins Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Meet and Greet with Candidates from Wards 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, taking place tonight at O’Gorman High School in the Common Area and Cafeteria from 6 PM-7 PM.

Then, at 7 PM, residents can move to the O’Gorman High Theatre to watch the Mayoral Debate. That will feature a debate with candidates Steve Black, Raymond Burey, Daniel Fortier, Lauchlan K. MacInnes and George Pirie.

If you want to submit a question for the debate, you can email it to policy@timminschamber.on.ca or at the door upon entry this evening.

Questions pre-submitted by Chamber members will also be considered.

There is no cost for this event and all are welcome to attend.

If you can’t make it in person, be sure to watch the live stream on our website, Kisstimmins.com and q92timmins.com.
