Kidsport hosting fun zone

Kidsport Timmins is hosting a free fun zone at the Archie Dillon Sportsplex.

It will have 30 booths with a demonstration of sports and registration.

“We have 6 Martial Arts organizations, downhill skiing, swimming, dance, gymnastics, hockey, figure skating, Yoga, bowling, biathlon, soccer, basketball, baseball, ringette,” Kidsport President Colleen Landers says in a release.

The DARE program, Timmins Rock and 92.1 Rock will also have booths, along with the Sports for Kids/Kidsport Timmins. The first 200 children will receive a free beverage and treat courtesy of Food Basics, Fortier Beverages, Frito Lay and Wendy’s.  Many booths will have draws.

All are welcome, not just Kidsport applicants.

The fun zone runs from 5-9 pm.
