**TEMISKAMING OPP NEWS RELEASE**


The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Professional Standards Bureau (PSB) arrested and charged an OPP officer as a result of an investigation into alleged incidents that occurred while the member was on duty.

Provincial Constable Michael POTTER, 42 years-old, has been a member of the OPP for 18 years and is currently assigned to the Temiskaming Detachment. As a result of the investigation, he has been charged with Breach of Trust contrary to section 122 of the Criminal Code (CC) and Criminal Harassment contrary to section 264(2)(a) of the CC.

He has been suspended from duty with pay and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Haileybury, Ontario on December 11, 2018.
