**TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE NEWS RELEASE**


The Timmins Police Service has charged a three local persons stemming from a break-in at a local industrial supply and repair company located in the south end of the city during the evening hours of Saturday November 17th .

Timmins Police Service officers responded to the break-in in progress and located three suspects on scene.

All three were taken into police custody.

As a result, Scott MORRIS, 45, of Timmins has been charged with:
– Theft over $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

This accused remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to the charge laid against him.

Additionally, Jamie Lynn ROBITAILLE, 32, and Jean Alfred LAFOREST, 32, both of Timmins have been charged with:
– Theft over $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

Both have been released from police custody on the strength of a Promise To Appear requiring that they attend Provincial Court in Timmins on January 8th, 2019, to answer to the charges laid against them.
