**TIMMINS AND DISTRICT HOSPITAL FOUNDATION NEWS RELEASE**

The Timmins and District Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce the hiring of Mr. Jason Laneville to the position of acting Executive Director.

Jason has an extensive background in sales and marketing in his previous roles at CTV Television. With an array of contacts located throughout Northern Ontario and Northwestern Quebec, he is poised to transplant and continue relationships which have been built through some 20 plus years. Known as a blue collar-white collar worker, he is excited to be joining the team and is looking forward to make the Foundation top of mind.

Jason brings with him an impressive volunteer history including time with the Timmins Chamber of Commerce, Schumacher Lions Club, Timmins Minor Hockey Association and the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation to name a few.

“We look forward to Jason’s fresh approach that will transform and lead the Foundation well into the future,” stated Gilles Chartrand, chairperson, TADH Foundation. “The Executive of the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation is pleased to welcome Jason to his new position,” added Chartrand.

About Timmins and District Hospital Foundation

From the James Bay coast to Engleheart, from Hearst to Kirkland Lake, Timmins and District Hospital is the beating heart of a vast, beautiful and vibrant region. We hold the well-being of over 115,000 people in our hands…and they, in turn, hold our fate in theirs.

As the largest hospital in Northeast Ontario, TADH is poised on the brink of a new era in healthcare for this region. To meet the growing and changing needs of the families we serve, the facilities and equipment of our hospital must be renewed. Not years from now, but now. Outdated, cramped, with an aging building and obsolete equipment, TADH is long past due for a revitalization that will enable us to take our District’s healthcare into the future.
