Maurice Parent of Matheson is celebrating after winning a $100,000 top prize with INSTANT BINGO DOUBLER (Game #1881).

“This is my first major win,” shared Maurice excitedly, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “I enjoy playing INSTANT CROSSWORD and BINGO.”

Maurice, a 56-year old carpenter, checked a few tickets at the store unknowing that his last ticket was a ‘Big Winner’. “I messaged my daughters and they didn’t believe me,” he laughed. “It hasn’t really sunk in yet – I haven’t been able to sleep for four days!”

The father of three daughters plans on giving them a portion of his windfall and heading to Niagara Falls with his family.

“It’s unreal – and just in time for Christmas!” he smiled.

INSTANT BINGO DOUBLER was available for $5 a play and the top prize was $100,000. Odds of winning any prize were 1 in 3.53.

The winning ticket was purchased at Tanny Convenience on McDougall Street in Matheson.
