According to the City of Timmins, overnight snow removal, which is done between 9:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m., will happen:

• Sunday, Dec. 30  – Spruce Street from Lee to Sixth, Pine from Kirby to Sixth, Cedar from Ogden to Sixth, Balsam from Ogden to Sixth, and Third Avenue.

• Tuesday, Jan. 1 – Second Avenue, Birch from Second to Sixth, Maple from Third to Sixth, and Elm from Third to Sixth.

• Wednesday, Jan. 2 – Kirby, Brunette and Railway

 

Daytime snow removal is also scheduled and takes place from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The schedule is:

Monday, Dec. 31 

• South Porcupine – William and Cecil

Wednesday, Jan. 2

• Timmins – Spruce Street North from Sixth to Ross, Hemlock from Fifth to Ross, Tamarack from Fifth to Ross, and Cherry

• South Porcupine – Powell, O’Brian, and Broadway

Thursday, Jan. 3

• Timmins – Elm Street from Second to Ogden, Maple Street South from Second to Ogden, Birch Street South from Second to Ogden, and First from Pine to Mountjoy

• Schumacher – Father Costello, Croatia from Veterans to Battachio, Grant, Boundary, Vipond from Father Costello to Templeton, and Les Hall

Friday, Jan. 4

• Timmins – Churches and stores

• Schumacher – Dwyer, Fourth from Vipond to Boundary, Aura Lake, Battachio, Templeton, Lion’s Crest from Grant to Father Costello
