**TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE NEWS RELEASE**


The Timmins Police Service is seeking public assistance in regards to a series of thefts which occurred at a local business in October of 2018.

The Timmins Police Service actively investigated thefts from a Normand Street saw mill in Timmins where the following items were stolen on or about October 17th:

– a quantity of copper wire
– a Stihl © chainsaw
– a welding unit
– various other industrial tools

A second break-in occurred at the same location later that same month where the following items were taken:

– a quantity of copper wire
– a green 2017 Polaris Sportsman 6 X 6 ATV.

Both these matters remain open investigations with the Timmins Police Service.
