Local suds company awaiting approval to brew

A local brewery is just about ready to open up.

Full Beard Brewing is going through the process of re-zoning their land on the corner of Rea South and Wilson to legally brew beer.

The notice of motion with city council states they would be re-zoning the land from “General Commercial (EA-CG) to General Commercial (EA-CG) (SP6-157) to permit all uses in the General Commercial (EA-CG) zone and a brewery.”

The first public meeting was held at a council meeting in August, and nobody there spoke against it.

Full Beard officials await final approval at this coming Monday’s city council meeting.
