**CITY OF TIMMINS NEWS RELEASE**

Mayor and Council have declared the week of March 1 to 9 as Snowmobile Week in Timmins.
A number of activities are scheduled throughout the week and will kick off with a flag raising at City Hall on Friday, March 1 at 10:30 am.

2019 Event Schedule:

Friday, March 1- Flag Raising at City Hall 10:30 am

Saturday, March 2- Eclipse Financial Snowcross Pro Challenge – Spruce Street South Snow Dump Kids day ages 12 and under get in FREE!

Sunday, March 3- Eclipse Financial Snowcross Pro Challenge – Spruce Street South Snow Dump

Monday, March 4- Visit Tourism Timmins for maps, coffee and hot chocolate! 325 Second Avenue

Tuesday, March 5- Ride to Cedar Meadows Resort and experience the Wilderness Tour 3 pm $12

Wednesday, March 6 – Ride and Dine to Kamiskotia Snow Resort. Chalet will be open from 6 to 8 pm

Thursday, March 7- Ride to Ramada Inn for an Indigenous Experience in the Teepee

Friday, March 8- Ride to McIntyre Arena to enjoy a great meal and catch some minor hockey action

Saturday, March 9- Trailer to beautiful Horwood Lake Lodge for an awesome off-trail experience or ride to Tata Chika Pika Lake Lodge to enjoy a great meal and fill up on fuel
