The city is approving more testing on two lots being targeted for the proposed Aquatic Centre in Timmins.

Including taxes, WSP is doing geo-technical and environmental work for just over $98,000.

Quite shocking is the fact that despite this being such a big topic of discussion at previous city council meetings and on social media, no question was asked and the matter was over and done with in under a minute.

No word on how the long the work will take to complete.
