Literacy: "if you don't use it, you'll lose it"

Executive Director of the Timmins Learning Centre Alison Kozlow says International Literacy Day is to celebrate the awareness of the importance of literacy.

She says many suffer with low literacy, and urges those in the area who struggle with low literacy to go back to school, because “it’s never too late” to learn skills, no matter what age someone is.
