**CITY OF TIMMINS NEWS RELEASE**

The City of Timmins would like to advise the public that phase two of the Riverside Drive
construction project is underway, and traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction from Shirley Street to
Government Road from June 13 until July 12, 2019.

Due to the length of the project, not all work was able to be completed before the cold weather began. Work will
include the completion of some water connections, as well as paving, curbs and gutters, and restoration to the
roadway and any businesses that were affected.

Traffic control will be in place and drivers are asked to slow down when proceeding through the work zone.
Be advised that Timmins Transit stops will not be affected by the construction and entrances to businesses will
remain open.
