**TIMMINS POLICE NEWS RELEASE**

In the interest of public safety, the Timmins Police Service has closed a section of Shirley Street North, from Lafleur Drive to the entrance of Ecole Renaissance. Local traffic, motorized and pedestrian, is now prohibited from entering this area until further notice. The Timmins Police has deployed it’s Emergency Response Team in this area in keeping with an ongoing investigation.
