Timmins has dodged a bullet when it comes to snow. We were anticipating 20-35cm of snow today, but instead it has hit the south east and south west region of the province. Highway 11 is now closed in both directions from Cobalt and Temagami.

North Bay has a snow day and so does Sudbury. Those regions were hit hard, so if you’re planning on traveling on HWY 144 and Hwy 11, Be prepared for delays. Remember to drive according to road conditions, follow the speed limit, and leave a lot of space between you and the vehicle in front of you.

To check the status of a HWY visit 511
