2015 08 22 Timmins Kobzar Park Shevchenko Statue Unveil Invitation-posterA long-standing park is spreading some new wings this Saturday.

Kobzar Park will be rededicated after renovations to the area, highlighted by the unveiling of a statue of Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko.

It all happens at the corner of Second Avenue and Mountjoy South at 11:00am.
