**TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE NEWS RELEASE**


The Timmins Police Service has charged a local woman with a number of Criminal Code offences stemming from an incident which occurred at the local library during the afternoon hours of Friday, December 6th.
Responding Timmins Police Service officers completed a thorough investigation into the incident where the suspect is alleged to have caused a disturbance and damaged public property.

The suspect was identified, located, and arrested by the Timmins Police Service.
As a result of the incident, Briana CABRAL, 26, of Timmins, has been charged with:
– Mischief Under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– Causing a Disturbance contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– Uttering Threats contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

The accused remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins in order to answer to the charges laid against her.
