**TFEC NEWS RELEASE**

The Timmins Festivals and Events Committee (TFEC), with support from Kia of Timmins, Sling Choker and Lake Shore Gold is proud to release the details of our upcoming Rock on the River fundraiser, Beer Fest! April 4th at the McIntyre Curling Club from 1pm to 8pm.

Our third annual craft beer festival will see breweries from all over Ontario making a stop at the Curling Club, sampling their unique brews and processes. In addition, for the first time we have brought in a distillery for those seeking an alternative to beer. Attendees will also be able to enjoy food from local vendors. Get ready to fight for your right to barley! (Terrible beer pun)

Confirmed breweries taking part in TFEC’s Beer Fest include:
• Full Beard Brewing Co. (Timmins)
• Compass Brewing (Timmins)
• Gateway City Brewery (North Bay)
• New Ontario Brewing Co. (North Bay)
• Highland Brew Co (South River) – new this year
• Northern Superior Brewing Co. (Sault. Ste. Marie)
• Whiskeyjack Beer Company (Haileybury)
• Sleeping Giant Brewing Company (Thunder Bay)
• Lake Of The Woods Brewing Company (Kenora)
• Underground Brewing (Kirkland Lake) – new this year
• Crosscut Distillery (Sudbury) – new this year

Tickets are $35 plus fees and taxes in advance and $50 fees and taxes included at the door, on sale March 2nd at TimminsFestivals.com. All proceeds from this event will directly support Rock on the River, July 24th & 25th at the Participark.
