Starbucks is pulling back on its presence in Canada with plans to close up to 200 coffee shops.

The Seattle-based chain says it intends to restructure its company-operated business in Canada under a two-year plan.

Here’s an update from the local Starbucks here in Timmins: “We still will be reopening! We have ordered in new stock, and are working on setting the store up with all possible precautions in place. We will announce when we have a definite date!”
