Timmins_Police_Service_logo_updA Timmins man is facing charges following a break & enter at a local retailer during the early morning hours of July 22, 2015.

At approximately 3:20 a.m., police received a report regarding a break and enter at a business near the city’s downtown core, where entry was gained by breaking a window. Upon arrival on scene, officers located an individual inside the building and he was placed under arrest.

Police had received additional calls prior to the break and enter regarding an individual attempting to gain access to other businesses in the area.
In relation to this incident, Barry GODIN, 41, of Timmins faces charges of Break and Enter, Mischief, Resist Arrest and Assault Peace Officer.

He was held pending a bail hearing scheduled for July 22, 2015.
