Timmins_Police_Service_logo_updA Timmins man is facing charges following a Break & Enter at a local school that occurred on July 8, 2015.

At approximately 10:50 p.m., police were dispatched to a local school for an alarm call. Upon arriving on scene, officers noted that entry had been gained and two individuals were observed fleeing the scene. Officers set up containment in the wooded area adjacent to the school in order to locate the suspects.

One individual was located in close proximity to the school. The Ontario Provincial Police’s Canine Unit assisted with a track in an attempt to locate the second individual; however that suspect was not located.

Subsequent to the arrival of the officers on scene, a bag containing several laptop computers had been discarded and was recovered by police. The estimated value of the electronics is approximately $1600. The estimated damage to the building is approximately $1500.

Joshua NAKOGEE, 19, is charged with Break and Enter – Commit Indictable Offence, Mischief under $5000, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and Breach of Probation. He was held in custody, with a court date scheduled for July 17, 2015.
