BMO - cheque presentation 2 - 26JUN2015Representatives from the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation attended the BMO Bank of Montreal, Timmins Branch on Friday, June 26, 2015 to receive $100,000 for the 2013-2016 Capital Campaign – Building for tomorrow’s healthcare today.

Presenting the cheque on behalf of BMO Bank of Montreal were Katherine Vukobratic, Branch Manager, Timmins Branch and Gary Zubal, Regional Vice-President, Personal Banking, Ontario Northern Gateway. Accepting the cheque on behalf of the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation were Jean-Paul Aubé, 2013-2016 Capital Campaign Chairperson and Janna Burke, Executive Director.

“As we mentioned at our official campaign launch in May 2013, we are looking at renovating and relocating eight different departments at a cost of $2.6 million dollars and replacing $12.4 million dollars’ worth of equipment” stated Jean-Paul Aubé, Campaign Chair. “Thanks to this generous contribution from BMO, our capital campaign team has secured a total $750,000 from the financial sector in Timmins in the third year of our four-year campaign,” added Aubé.

Aubé says with this new donation, the capital campaign is more than two-thirds of the way towards their $15-million goal.  They now sit at around $10.2-million.
