The 2015 Summer Concert Series kicks off June 24th at the Hollinger Park and it is sure to rock your socks off.

The free concerts will begin with local fan-favourite’s like, “The Shaftmen” and “Carole Champagne “.

With 29 artists booked to perform, Manager of Tourism Guy Lamarche says there will be a genre for everyone to enjoy, including:
alternative, progressive rock, country, pop, blues, big band and adult contemporary.

You may want to bring a lawn chair for the event as it starts Wednesday June 24th at 6:00 pm and ends at 9:00pm

Additionally, Guy Lamarche says Canada Day celebrations will take place at Mountjoy Participark with special performances by Celeste Levis and Mathieu Langevin. He says their bilingual performances will be unforgettable – as both artists gained huge followings as competitors on La Voix aka The Voice.

He adds that the 2015 Summer Concert Series could bring big bucks to local businesses  in the retail and hospitality sector because visiting bands will attract fans from their own towns
