In celebration of its 50th anniversary, Northern College is preparing to host Community Connect Sessions to hear from community members and employers. The sessions will focus on how Northern is meeting the community’s needs and whether there are things that can be improved and done differently as the college moves towards its next milestone.

“We are a Community College, and we want to make sure that what we do aligns with the needs of the communities we serve,” said Fred Gibbons, President and CEO of Northern College. “We are asking area businesses and individuals to get involved in the process. We recognize that there are many different perspectives and ideas about what a college can do to be a positive force in the community, and we want to get as much input as we can.”

Sessions will be held at the following locations:

  • Timmins Campus (Quill Lounge): Monday, March 20, 2017, at 4:30 p.m.
  • Kirkland Lake Campus (Cafeteria): Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at 4:30 p.m.
  • Haileybury Campus (room C220): Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at 4:30 p.m.
