Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne will be in Timmins Wednesday afternoon, as part of a multi-stop day.

According to her itinerary, she will be in Kirkland Lake and Matachewan First Nation before arriving at the Timmins Native Friendship Centre around 5:00pm.

There’s no specifics into what, if anything, will be announced at that time.

It was noted she will not be taking questions from the media.

UPDATE: The Premier will stay in Timmins for a press conference Thursday morning at the Timmins YMCA at 9:15am.

Her itinerary also states she will then meet with Mayor Steve Black and head off to Fort Albany First Nation.

Both the meeting with Black and visit to Fort Albany are closed to the media.
