The Timmins Police Service is requesting assistance from the public regarding missing youth Janet ETHERINGTON, 16.

Etherington resides in Cochrane but was in Timmins for the day on July 24, when she fled from the individual she was with.

Janet was reported missing on July 24, at approximately 7pm.

She is described as being a 16 year-old Aboriginal female, 5’7” tall, approximately 130 lbs. with a medium build.

She has dark hair, often worn in a ponytail and currently has a white cast on her lower arm. She was last seen wearing a red and black button-up shirt with a black t-shirt underneath, black pants, and rubber shoes.

The Timmins Police Service would like to locate Janet to confirm her well-being.

Anyone having any information about Janet Etherington’s whereabouts, or believing they may have seen her is asked to call the Timmins Police Service at 705-264-1201.
