Students at W.E. Miller Public School got a special treat for lunch Tuesday, in the form of the Timmins Rock.

Rock players, who are gearing up for a playoff push, took the time to have some fun in a few pick-up games of hockey in the school’s gymnasium all for a good cause.

This is a fundraiser for Jade Collins, a local student battling cancer down in Toronto.

“All the students at the school love the Timmins Rock,” says Vice-Principal Mary-Ann Neilson, “It was an easy fundraiser to do.”

Students were also treated to a hot-dog lunch and looks as if fun was had by all.
