The Timmins Rock (8-12-0-1) have just the one game this weekend, but it’s a big one against a familiar East Division foe.

They travel to Cochrane to take on the Crunch (12-8-0-0), the first time they hit the Tim Horton Events Centre since Game 5 of last year’s NOJHL East Division semi-final.

Their road struggles this season have been covered often enough, with zero wins in nine games away from The Mac.

And with just the one win at THEC—Game 2 of the East semi-final—in the last couple years, they got their work cut out for them.

Both teams come into Friday’s game on a high. Timmins took two straight games last weekend at home, while the Crunch are in the midst of a three-game winning streak.

Game time tonight is 7:30pm.
