Timmins Police Official-BadgeThe Timmins Police Service has completed its investigation into a June 2nd incident where a person is alleged to have been parked in a passenger vehicle in a local grocery store parking lot while committing an indecent act.

The incident was brought to the attention of the Timmins Police Service by a passer-by who photographed the incident.

Based on other information gathered by the investigating officer, the Timmins Police Service arrested a 19 year old man from South Porcupine.

The man has been charged with one count of Commit an Indecent Act contrary to section 173(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

He has been released from police custody but must attend Provincial Court in Timmins on July 19th to answer to the charge laid against him.
