“Partnering with the Northern Ontario Angels to co-host investor pitch events provides our entrepreneurs with further options to help with business scale-up and product launch. Often it is difficult for entrepreneurs to secure financing from traditional sources, particularly for early-stage development. Angel investors are willing to take greater risks for greater rewards.”   “In 2016 we first partnered with the Northern Ontario Angels to host a pitch event. As a result, one of our entrepreneurs later secured seed capital which enabled him to move forward with his innovative product launch. He continues today with scaling up business operations.”

Ross MacDonald, Business Development Specialist, PIC
