A march from the armoury to the cenotaph will kick off remembrance day ceremonies for Timmins Legion Branch 88.

The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 88 Sergeant at Arms, Andrea Villeneuve says its important to remember all the veterans from World War 1, 2 and any peacekeeping mission Canada has been a part of;

The ceremony will also include a singing of O Canada and playing of the Last Post. They will also have the laying of the wreath and a reading of Flanders Field.

South Porcupine Legion Branch 287 Member Ronald Drouin says they will be marching from the Legion to the cenotaph as well. Drouin says it’s important to remember fallen comrades and also the struggles current solider’s face;

If you are unable to attend a ceremony, KiSS/Q92 will be observing a moment of silence at 11:00.
