**OPP NEWS RELEASE**

On May 8, 2018 at approximately 3:11 p.m. members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an altercation on McCamus Avenue, in Temiskaming Shores, Ontario. 

 

One male is recovering from non-life threatening injuries sustained during the altercation. A second male is deceased. The OPP is satisfied that there is no further threat to public safety as the investigation continues. 

 

No names are being released to protect the identity of both individuals. 

 

The Temiskaming Crime Unit, North Bay Forensic Identification Services and the Coroner’s office will be continuing the investigation.
