Door-to-Door mail delivery staying put in Timmins

Postal workers in Timmins are breathing a sigh of relief.

Canada Post announced they would stop construction of community mailboxes and local CUPW president John Cameron says support from the community really helped their cause.

Cameron also says local MP Charlie Angus “advocated strongly on their behalf.”

Community Mailboxes were set to be implemented in Timmins in August 2016.
