**COLLEGE BOREAL MEDIA RELEASE**

Last week, Collège Boréal announced the winners of its Awards of Excellence for the 2017-2018 academic year. Four members of Boréal’s staff were honoured for their outstanding commitment to students and to our institutional values of excellence, humanism, inclusion, innovation and respect.

College staff members were encouraged to submit nominations highlighting the accomplishments and contributions of their colleagues. Nominations were evaluated according to the following criteria: results achieved, contribution to the college’s strategic objectives and demonstration of the college’s values. An advisory committee was tasked with recommending four candidates for awards among a list drawn from all of Collège Boréal’s campuses and sites.
