**TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE NEWS RELEASE**


While completing general patrol of the downtown core during the noon hour of Friday June 22nd, Timmins Police Service officers located a person bound by conditions imposed by the courts.

The officers confirmed that the person in question was in fact required to comply with a curfew imposed by the Provincial Court in Timmins requiring him to remain within his residence.
The bail conditions stem from charges related to matters that occurred on June 5th of this year.

As a result, Dominic (Dominique) SCOTT, 28, of Timmins was arrested and charged with Fail to Comply with Recognizance of Bail contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused has been held in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated to take place this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins.

Additionally, while completing general patrol of the downtown core on Saturday June 23rd, Timmins Police Service officers recognized and located a wanted person.

The officers confirmed that the person in question was in fact wanted on the strength of an arrest warrant on charges of Theft Under $5000, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000, Fraud and Fail to Appear.

As a result, Chelsea NAKOGEE, 27, of Timmins was arrested and held in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated to take place this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins.

Lastly, the Timmins Police located a local man that was wanted on the strength of arrest warrant on charges of assault that are alleged to have taken place in early June in Timmins.

Timmins Police Service officers confirmed that the person in question was in fact wanted and took the person into custody.

As a result, Dean HOOKIMAW, 23, of Timmins remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated to take place this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins.
