**KAPUSKASING OPP NEWS RELEASE**

On July 1, 2018 at 8:47 p.m., the Kapuskasing Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to Highway 11 and McPherson Avenue in Kapuskasing, Ontario, regarding live downed hydro wires. 

 

At this time, Highway 11 will remain closed until the repairs can be completed. There is no detour available at this time. 

 

The OPP are advising motorists and residents to avoid the intersection.
